Department of Public Services Divisions

Custodial & Maintenance Division

The Custodial and Maintenance Division is responsible for maintaining the City's buildings, which includes preventative maintenance, repairs, and janitorial services.

Engineering Division

Major responsibilities include the supervision of all engineering services of the City.

Forestry Division

Motor Pool Division

The Motor Pool Division is responsible for maintaining all City vehicles and related equipment.

Parks Division

The Parks Division is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of City parks, the Red Oaks Youth Soccer Complex, and the grounds of all City-owned properties through a combined effort of City staff and contractors.

Recreation Division

The Recreation Department is responsible for conducting the City's leisure and recreational programs.

Solid Waste Division

The Solid Waste Division is responsible for the collection of refuse and recycling, brush chipping, street sweeping, leaf pickup, litter disposal, and park clean-up.

Streets Division

The Streets Division is responsible for the maintenance of 106 miles of major and local streets.

Water & Sewer Division

The Water and Sewer Division is responsible for providing water distribution and sewer collection to citizens and businesses.
