Solid Waste Division

Statement of Services

The Solid Waste Division is responsible for the collection of refuse and recycling, brush chipping, street sweeping, leaf pickup, litter disposal, and park clean-up. The City has established a mandatory recycling program. Recycled materials include metals, phone books, magazines, paper, plastics, glass, tin, Christmas trees, batteries, grass clippings and leaves. Educational seminars for recycling and composting are conducted for schools and businesses.
