Holiday Tree Lighting
November 27, 2023 Time TBD
Annual Tree Lighting Join in the excitement on Monday, November 27 as Santa arrives to turn on the City Holiday Lights! This festive beginning to the holiday season will be held in the Civic Center Plaza. The Mayor will welcome Santa and present him with an official key to the City. Visitors will enjoy cookies and cocoa while listening to seasonal music. Following the tree lighting program, children may wish to get their photos taken with Santa inside the Breckenridge Room of the Library, assisted by the Intermediate Women’s Club. As this event is privately sponsored, the Mayor asks the community to help keep this tradition going, by donating with checks payable to “City of Madison Heights - Christmas Light Fund.” Contributions may be mailed to 801 Ajax Dr. Any donation no matter the size helps continue this wonderful event.
