The City of Madison Heights has partnered with Main street Oakland County, Madison Heights Downtown Development Authority and the Madison Heights- Hazel Park Chamber of Commerce to build a grant fund to assist Madison Heights small businesses suffering from financial hardship due to the COVID-19 outbreak. This project, if successful, will directly impact businesses who conduct business “face to face” with their customer base, are considered “nonessential” and whose business operation has been effectively halted due to COVID-19 and related Governor’s Executive Orders.
How It Works
The City of Madison Heights has partnered with Main street Oakland County and the Madison Heights Downtown Development Authority to pledge $10,000 in matching funds towards a grant fund dedicated to Madison Heights small businesses most impacted by COVID-19 and related Governor’s Executive Order that prevented or severely limited the operation of the business we know and love. If contributions meet or exceed $10,000, an additional $10,000 will be matched by our partnering organizations providing $20,000 in grant funds to be awarded to Madison Heights small businesses.
