Do you have a fire hydrant in front of your home or business? Is there one close by? We are looking for people to adopt a hydrant during the winter months. The Water or Fire Department can't always dig out or clear around all the hydrants in the city, so we are asking for your help. During or right after a significant snowfall, we are asking that you maintain a clearance around the hydrant or hydrants that you adopt. This would be very helpful to the City, and it would help with fire safety. Thanks for your help!
